Apply for this role →BIM Project Engineer – High-Rise Construction (Miami, FL)G&E Partners is partnered with a leading high-rise General Contractor in Miami that is expanding its project teams on the back of a strong pipeline of luxury residential and mixed-use tower projects. This is a fully on-site role supporting complex, multi-story builds, with long-term career progression within a growing Florida operation.
Responsibilities:
- Support BIM/VDC coordination across all phases of high-rise construction, with a focus on MEP scopes
- Run model coordination and clash detection sessions with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors
- Review and manage federated models, shop drawings, and coordination drawings, and track clash resolution to closure
- Review submittals and RFIs against the model, and help raise and resolve design conflicts
- Track procurement and long-lead equipment (switchgear, generators, chillers, etc.) and confirm equipment sizing and clearances in the model
- Use models to support field coordination, sequencing, and installation planning
- Assist with inspections, testing, and commissioning, including as-built model updates
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and the wider VDC team
- Maintain model and drawing documentation and ensure compliance with contract and BIM execution plan requirements
- Requirements1–5+ years of experience in construction, ideally with a GC, VDC team, or large MEP subcontractor
- Hands-on experience with Revit and Navisworks (Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Procore, or Bluebeam a plus)
- Exposure to high-rise, multifamily, hospitality, or large commercial projects preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they are modeled and coordinated
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Comfortable working fully on-site in MiamiWhy JoinCareer-defining high-rise projects (30+ to 100+ stories)
- Strong project backlog and long-term stability
- Clear path into VDC/BIM Management or MEP Project Management
