Role Description: We have an opening in Brooklyn, New York. This is an in person role and a great opportunity to gain experience and influence real change. The Dietitian will provide individualized nutritional assessments, develop evidence-based care plans, and deliver medical nutrition therapy for patients with a variety of health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting nutritional counseling sessions, monitoring patient progress, and documenting care in accordance with practice and regulatory standards. The role also involves educating patients and families on healthy eating habits, weight management strategies, and disease-specific nutrition guidelines. The Dietitian is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical nutrition, follow professional ethical standards, and contribute to a supportive, culturally sensitive care environment. QualificationsRDN/CNS or CDN certification of New York Strong skills in Nutritional Counseling, including patient education, motivation, and behavior change support. Competence in Weight Management counseling, including assessment, goal setting, and ongoing progress monitoring. Experience in outpatient or medical practice settings preferred, with strong documentation and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and clear communication. Proficiency in basic computer and electronic health record (EHR) systems, and commitment to continuing professional education.
