Incumbents in this position are responsible for supervising a crew of personnel in the repair and maintenance of the water and wastewater system. This position may also serve as the operations construction observer on projects being performed by outside agencies. This position is assigned to pay grade G15.Develops plans and programming, formulates budgetary data, assigns job duties, conducts employee evaluations, prepares contractual obligations, develops safety educational curriculum, and reports parameters as they relate to the overall programming of the office. Conducts regular safety meetings. Coordinates and assigns the work of repair crews. Instructs work crews in the repair and maintenance of underground utilities. Installs water and sewer mains.
