Job Description: The Financial Analyst supports capital planning, budgeting, and regulatory initiatives by analyzing financial data, developing forecasting models, and providing actionable business insights to engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory stakeholders. This role is responsible for leveraging SAP and other financial systems to evaluate capital expenditures, perform variance and cost analyses, support rate case filings, develop financial models, and prepare reports that drive strategic decision-making. The analyst collaborates cross-functionally to monitor capital budgets, maintain financial data integrity, support regulatory testimony and audit requests, conduct benchmarking and productivity studies, prepare reimbursable project billing, and provide ongoing financial guidance related to capital projects, resource planning, and operational investments. Additionally, the role facilitates monthly budget reviews, supports process improvement initiatives, and serves as a key liaison between business, engineering, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective capital management.
