Registered Nurse (RN) Summit Oaks Hospital, a private acute care hospital and chemical dependency treatment center, has been providing quality health care to adult, child and adolescent northeastern USA residents since 1902. This is a Full Time position from 7am - 7pm, 3 days a week, 36 hours a week. There is opportunity to cover various shifts and pick up overtime if interested. This position qualifies for a $12,000 Sign on Bonus.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assess and respond to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians.
- Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques.
- Monitor, report, and document patient behaviors and overall well being.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as needed under the guidance of treatment team.

Qualifications:
Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
CPR certification required.
