Position Overview: The Regional Director is responsible for driving regional sales growth, providing leadership, coaching and mentorship, overseeing sales and operational performance, delivering an excellent guest experience through integrity and the TEAM sales process, and fostering a strong relationship with our Verizon partner support teams, TEAM Wireless support teams, and all 3rd party vendors that support our business and employees. Drive KPI results through effective coaching, communication with staff and support teams, and positively motivating District Managers, Store managers and sales consultants. Travel to each district in the region monthly as needed. Maintain an active presence in stores working alongside District Managers (DM), Store Managers (SM), and Sales employees actively selling and coaching. Track KPI results and Gross Profit regularly through provided reports from both TEAM Wireless and Verizon. Develop and execute strategies to drive SMB and all other new strategic revenue initiatives and KPI’s established by Verizon and TEAM Wireless and measured on our scorecard (Example: Visa CC, VZ Home, Pull Through, Unlimited Plans, Home and Business Internet, Reveal, and future initiatives.)Provide sales forecast and performance updates to company leadership, Verizon, and vendor partners as needed. Partner with DM’s, SM’s, and Human Resources in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring talent. Review store scheduling and staffing plans utilizing available tools to optimize labor, minimize store closures, and maximize sales and profitability. Ensure District Managers and Store Managers effectively utilize outbound marketing and customer engagement tools, including Statflo, VZ Engage, Salesforce, and other approved platforms. Coaching and Mentorship Work closely with your DM’s and Store Managers to provide coaching strategies that generate positive results and problem solve guests’ issues to find resolutions. Clearly communicate company strategies, initiatives and expectations to maximize KPI’s, profitability, and commission opportunities. Provide timely, constructive feedback focused on improving performance and employee development. Performance-related feedback should be delivered professionally in 1:1 settings. Coaching and feedback to all levels of employees follows SMART principles. Specific behaviors that need to be improved/implemented should be discussed more than just discussing the result KPI.Behaviors should be able to be Measured and able to be inspected so there is no question on if the behavior is being done or not. Behaviors should always be Action oriented (again, focus in on the behavior not just the result) Behavior needs to be Relevant to the desired result and important to our business. Time specific. Clearly identify a reasonable amount of time that the behavior needs to be a habit and the results improve. Leadership is showing, teaching, coaching, and then holding people accountable for the behaviors that are shown/taught/coached. Leadership is not just giving your TEAM a KPI result and telling them to hit it. Address employee concerns in a timely manner and involve Human Resources as necessary for assistance, compliance, and consistency. Monitor store conditions (cleanliness, brand compliance, etc.) and remedy anything that needs to be addressed. Recommend and communicate with appropriate TEAM support groups for any assistance needed or maintenance/repairs. Proactively monitor sales integrity and correct sales techniques that are not in line with company values and Verizon Standards of Conduct, Protecting Customer Information, and/or Full Disclosure requirements. Address any occurrence of fraud, theft, robbery, immediately. Make the Director of Security aware as soon as possible. Inspect Operational Audit Compliance while in store and immediately address non-compliance. Review Operation Audit reporting from the Sales Operational Support team to work with DM’s and Stores that struggle with operational compliance including, but not limited to the following: Cash out Variances. Missing trades or trades not shipped daily. Inventory counts for equipment and accessories. Repeated errors resulting in petty cash being used (misinformed promotion, device payment agreements missing, etc.)Inspect and follow-up that all required training (Verizon, TEAM, Vendors) is completed on time. Partnership and Relationship Management Foster a strong relationship with our Verizon partner support teams, TEAM Wireless support teams, and all 3rd party vendors that support our business and employees. Participate in regular calls with TEAM leadership, Verizon partners, and Vendors. Leverage available resources and partnerships to support sales growth, operational excellence, and employee development throughout the region. Promote a collaborative "One Team" culture across all business partners and support functions. Additional Expectations Regional Sales Directors are expected to lead their Region to year-over-year profitability increases. Regional Director will make sure that their Region’s stores offer the guest service that satisfies the needs of their guest and TEAM Wireless. They work with District Managers to ensure promotions are accurate and stores are clean and merchandised to the brand standards. Regional Directors assist District Managers with ensuring the ongoing training and support of Retail Store Managers, ASM’s, and Sales Consultants in the districts is being met. Regional Directors oversee several Districts. A Company vehicle or vehicle expense are provided for work related travel. Meal expenses and hotel expenses are provided while traveling (traveling will be extensive at up to 50% for this position). RD’s are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with an expectation of weekend and after-hour availability to support your Regional Sales TEAM.Requirements High School Diploma Must be at least 18 years of age. A current District Manager, BSM, or Store Manager that has been with TEAM for more than 2 years. Must reside in the region footprint or relocate within 60 days. Mornings/Evenings/Weekend availability College Experience preferred. Wireless Experience preferred. Must be willing to travel for training and meetings up to 50%.Basic PC skills including email, internet, Microsoft tools CompensationCompany Vehicle or Vehicle expense for business use Bonus Structure (Maximum Opportunity of $5,700 monthly) - KPI’s subject to change
