The ideal candidate will be able to interpret drawings and project scopes, develop quantities and costs, and understand construction means, methods, labor, materials, and other cost drivers.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Hands-on construction estimating experience – REQUIREDExperience developing cost estimates for complex construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret civil or electrical drawings
- Experience developing quantities, labor, material, equipment, and project costs
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Experience with estimating software such as HeavyBid or comparable platforms
- Ability to interpret preliminary drawings, sketches, and project scopes
- Understanding of construction trades and terminology
- Experience with civil, electrical, industrial, infrastructure, or utility estimating
- Strong analytical and communication skills
