Responsibilities: As an Architectural Designer, you will play an integral role in all phases of project development, preparing architectural drawings and construction documents, developing presentation materials and design studies, coordinating with consultants, conducting code and material research, organizing documents and samples, assisting with permit submittals and construction administration, and supporting Project Managers and Principals from concept through construction.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree preferred. 2–5 years of professional architectural experience. Experience with construction documents and administration, including tenant improvements and interior architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), and Rhino or other 3D modeling software. Understanding of building systems, construction detailing, and current building codes. Excellent graphic presentation skills, including both digital and hand-rendered communication. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-end custom residential architecture. Experience coordinating with consultants and preparing permit and construction documents. Knowledge of Southern California building codes and permitting processes. Interest in sustainable design and thoughtful material selection. Background in commercial healthcare facilities is a plus.
