Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the College of HEST scholarship process, including annual application, review, selection, award, and distribution activities.
Coordinate with academic units and scholarship committees to ensure scholarship reviews and selections are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordinate updates or corrections to scholarship criteria and assist with improving college processes related to scholarships and foundation accounts.
Track, submit, and monitor academic and student forms, including change of schedule, change of grade, course overloads, Incompletes, academic sanctions, course substitutions, degree-related documentation, and other academic requests.
Support the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs through scheduling, meeting coordination, calendar support, document preparation, and tracking of academic requests and initiatives.
Communicate information regarding academic processes, deadlines, procedures, and requirements to appropriate faculty, staff, and students.
Assist with developing and improving procedures that increase the efficiency and consistency of academic processes across the college.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, special events, and other programs associated with the Academic Affairs team and the College of HEST.
Support college student organizations, committees, and student engagement activities.
Provide coordination and support for initiatives of the Dean's leadership team and other college priorities as needed.
Maintain program records and assist with tracking activities, preparing reports, and assessing student support initiatives.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.
Lifting Requirements:
Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
