Network Administrator

What You'll Do: Monitor and maintain AMI network devices (routers, gateways, endpoints) Troubleshoot communication failures, RF issues, and device outages Perform meter firmware deployments and validate successful upgrades Conduct field inspections and RF testing as needed Support system reliability goals Partner with technical teams and vendors on upgrades and issue resolution What We're Looking For Required Background in AMI, RF, telecom, field networking, IoT, or utility operations Ability to work in the field and outdoors as needed Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of relocation) Preferred Experience with AMI systems (any vendor) Utility industry experience (electric/water/gas) Network or cybersecurity certifications (Network+, CCNA, Security+, CISSP) Seniority level Mid‐Senior level Employment type Full‐time Job function Information Technology Industries Utilities and Telecommunications Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Advantage Technical by 2x Get notified about new Network Field Technician jobs in Brownsville, TX.
