Apply for this role →General HelperThe General Helper will provide support to manufacturing operations, mainly performing cleaning and basic maintenance of production equipment and machinery. The position requires a responsible, active, and safety-oriented person, willing to work in an industrial environment and support general tasks according to the needs of the resource will receive initial training during the first shift or through a hybrid schedule before integrating into the third shift.
Principal Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning of equipment, machinery, and components used in production areas.
Remove residues, dust, cardboard, grease, and other accumulated materials in equipment and work areas.
Support in simple light mechanical tasks and basic maintenance under the instructions of the corresponding personnel.
Assist in the disassembly, cleaning, and reinstallation of simple components when required.
Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean, organized, and in safe conditions.
Identify and report abnormal conditions, damages, wear, or possible problems observed during equipment cleaning.
Support maintenance and production staff in general tasks according to operational needs.
Follow established procedures for safety, cleaning, and equipment
the required personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly for assigned tasks.
Comply with safety standards and maintain good practices of order and cleanliness within the facilities.
Perform other general tasks related to the production and maintenance area as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, preferably.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, maintenance, industrial cleaning, or light mechanics is preferred, but not indispensable.
Basic knowledge or interest in mechanical work and equipment maintenance.
Ability to use basic hand tools safely.
Availability to work third shift once training is completed.
Availability to undergo training in the first shift or through a hybrid schedule.
Ability to perform physical work and stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to follow safety instructions and procedures.
Good attendance, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
Ideal Profile:
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking person with a good willingness to learn, who feels comfortable performing manual tasks in an industrial environment. Basic experience using tools, cleaning machinery, or supporting maintenance work will be considered favorably.
