School Bus Driver

Schedule: [2-3 Hours in Morning 2-3 Hours in afternoon, Monday - Friday]

Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and reliable Student Transportation Drivers to safely transport students with disabilities using company-owned minivans. Drivers play a critical role in supporting students’ daily routines by providing safe, respectful, and attentive transportation to and from school and school-related activities.

Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a school-owned minivan on assigned routes and schedules Transport students with special needs to and from school Assist students with boarding, seating, seat belts, and exiting the vehicle as needed Properly use and secure safety equipment (e.g., child safety restraints, harnesses, mobility aids)Maintain a calm, supportive, and structured environment during transport Follow individualized transportation plans and special instructions Monitor student behavior and respond appropriately to medical or behavioral needs Communicate effectively with school staff, parents/guardians, and supervisors Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness and safety Report incidents, concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications: Valid state driver’s CDL license Clean driving record Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination Experience working with children with special needs preferred Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods
