Salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually

What you'll lead All 2nd-shift forging production, ensuring output aligns with daily production, quality, and delivery goals.
Open-die and related forging operations—monitoring process health and intervening early.
Team development through coaching, accountability, and ongoing training.
Safety culture: PPE compliance, procedural rigor, and policy enforcement.
Start-of-shift meetings, clear communication of priorities, and cross-functional coordination.
Performance oversight: attendance, training status, and productivity metrics.
Hands-on troubleshooting of production and equipment problems; escalate when appropriate.
Continuous improvement projects targeting safety, quality, productivity, and scrap reduction.
Conformance to work instructions, process parameters, and quality standards.
Accurate shift reporting and production documentation.
Onboarding new employees and upskilling seasoned operators.
What you bring:
3+ years in a manufacturing supervisory or leadership role.
Experience within forging, steel/metals, stamping, machining, foundry, or comparable heavy manufacturing.
Direct forging experience is strongly preferred.
Solid command of manufacturing safety and production practices.
History of managing teams and maintaining performance standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with maintenance and technical teams.
Strong communicator; organized and decisive leader.
Comfort operating in a heavy industrial environment.
Commitment to working 2nd shift.
Preferred extras Open-die or closed-die forging experience.
Background with forging presses and heavy industrial equipment.
Experience with aerospace or other high-strength metal components.
Lean/continuous improvement toolkit.
Quality and scrap reduction achievements.
Employee training and development experience.
OSHA and plant safety program familiarity.
