The firm manages a diversified investment platform across credit, real estate, and opportunistic strategies and has an established institutional investor base. The Investor Services team works closely with Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Technology, and third-party administrators, providing broad exposure across the firm's investment platform.
The Role:
The Investor Services Analyst will support the operational and analytical functions behind the firm's investor relationships, with a particular focus on investor capital activity, shadow accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
Shadow third-party fund administrators and reconcile investor-level activity. Process subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, exchanges, capital calls, and distributions. Review investor documentation for completeness and eligibility. Partner with Fund Accounting to reconcile investor and accounting records and resolve discrepancies. Track subscription and capital-call funding. Review investor statements, including management fees, incentive fees, and P&L activity. Support capital calls, distributions, fund launches, closes, and quarter-end activity. Prepare analysis of historical and anticipated investor capital activity. Produce recurring and ad hoc investor reporting for senior management and internal stakeholders. Utilize Salesforce and Excel to analyze investor data and improve reporting. Partner with Technology to improve investor reporting and transaction management. Identify opportunities to automate processes using AI, Excel automation, and other technology tools. Work cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and Technology. Take increasing ownership of operational projects and process improvements.
Qualifications:
2–4+ years of experience in investor services, fund accounting, fund operations, or a related function. Experience within an alternative asset manager or fund administrator strongly preferred. Understanding of capital activity, fund accounting, fee structures, and reconciliations. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets. Strong attention to detail and ability to research and resolve discrepancies. Ability to manage high volumes of activity and competing deadlines. Interest in technology, automation, and AI-driven process improvements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with third-party fund administrators is a plus. Knowledge of AML, FATCA, and CRS is a plus. Salesforce experience is a plus.
