Per Diem Nurse Practitioner

Pay: $80–$85 per hour

Schedule: Per diem with flexible scheduling True Health Medical San Diego is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner with joint-injection experience to join our integrated medical clinic on a per diem basis. Our clinic brings together regenerative medicine, chiropractic care, and physical therapy/rehabilitation to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. We focus on personalized, nonsurgical care for people with joint pain and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will work under the guidance of a supervising physician while collaborating with our multidisciplinary clinical team. We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about patient outcomes and is open to regenerative, nonsurgical, and natural approaches to care.

Responsibilities: Evaluate patients with knee, shoulder, hip, and other joint conditions. Review patient histories, examinations, imaging, and diagnostic findings. Perform joint injections within the NP’s training, qualifications, scope of practice, and established clinical protocols. Work under the guidance of the clinic’s supervising physician. Educate patients about their conditions and appropriate treatment options. Develop and document individualized patient care plans. Monitor patient progress and perform follow-up evaluations. Coordinate patient care with our chiropractic and physical rehabilitation team. Collaborate with the supervising physician and other clinical providers.

Qualifications: Active California Nurse Practitioner license. Current California RN license and appropriate NP certification. Previous experience performing joint injections is required. Musculoskeletal, orthopedic, pain-management, or regenerative-medicine experience is strongly preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills. Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working in an integrated clinical environment. Open to regenerative and nonsurgical approaches to joint care. A DEA registration is not required for this position. Although previous joint-injection experience is required, training will be provided for the specific treatments, techniques, equipment, and clinical protocols used in our clinic.
