Operations Manager

The Role: The Operations Manager will plan, develop, and lead a manufacturing team to achieve exceptional results in safety, quality, customer delivery, and operational efficiency. This leader will be accountable for implementing and sustaining standardized production and material flow processes that drive performance and support business objectives. Success in this role requires a hands-on leadership style, strong communication skills, and a passion for coaching and developing teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Develop and implement standardized production and material flow processes that improve efficiency and consistency. Drive operational improvements through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular performance feedback and development planning. Create a results-oriented culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence. Ensure employees are trained, cross-functional, and equipped to support evolving business needs. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives. Identify and execute opportunities to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and workplace safety. Lead with a people-first approach while maintaining high standards for operational performance. Partner with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives and customer commitments.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.5+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced production setting. Experience implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives. Strong performance management, coaching, and employee development experience. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and operational excellence methodologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to drive results through both people leadership and process improvement.
