What you'll do:
- Lead risk-based audits from planning and walkthroughs through fieldwork, reporting and follow-upTest internal controls across financial, operational, compliance and IT areas, including ICFR work
- Spot control gaps and emerging risks, dig into root causes and write clear findings with practical recommendations
- Help build the annual audit plan and track issues through remediation and closure
- Partner with business, risk and compliance leaders, and coach and review the work of junior auditors
- Bring data analytics and AI tools into the audit process
- What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field 3-4+ years of external or internal audit experience, ideally in financial services
- Strong grasp of internal controls and risk assessment
- Clear writing, sound judgment and the confidence to influence stakeholdersCPA, CIA, CAMS or CISA preferred; banking and regulatory knowledge is a plus
- Experience with audit management software and an interest in analytics and AIMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future
Compensation and benefits:
- Base salary of $95,000-$115,000, depending on experience
- Discretionary bonus eligibility
- Medical, dental, vision and disability coverage, 401(k) and paid time off
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the downtown office, 2 days remote
