Financial Project Accountant

Staff Accountant – Real Estate Development | Midtown Manhattan | $75K–$90K + Bonus Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a full-time, hybrid role. Our client is a well-established real estate developer with a national portfolio (office, residential, mixed-use and industrial). You'll be the financial link between the development teams, joint-venture partners and leadership, from groundbreaking to sale. Monthly journal entries, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and financial statement prep Construction loan draws and funding requests for active development projects Tracking project costs against approved budgets Audit support and transaction closings (settlement statements, gain-on-sale calcs) Bachelor's in Accounting (or related field)~ CPA, or in progress with at least one exam section passed~1+ years of accounting experience. Public accounting is a big plus~ Strong Excel and writing skills.
