Paramedic Job$2,000.00 Sign On BonusHourly rate is dependent on years of service and/or credentialsEmergency care of the sick and injuredAdvanced Life Support (cardiac monitoring, ACLS and other emergency medications) Non-emergency transportation of patients who require ambulance transportDaily inventory of ambulance equipment and suppliesDaily mechanical inspection of ambulanceTimely and accurate documentation of patient transportsPatient advocacy-- ensuring proper documentation and all needed paperwork are completed and present so patient can qualify for their insurance benefits to cover their transportationMaintaining all required certifications and CEU hours to maintain EMS license in good standingMaintaining good physical condition so as to be able to properly perform all job dutiesMaintaining professional appearance; i.e., well groomed, uniform neat and cleanMaintaining ambulance in a clean and orderly fashion, stocked to TN State standardsQualifications: TN State Paramedic License in good standing (if coming from out of state, we can help with reciprocity. If in training, you can apply prior to receiving certification, but cannot work until it is received) At least 21 years of age preferred due to insurance requirements for driving. If not 21, there may be availability for non-driver Paramedics at management's discretionBLS CPRPediatric Training: PALS (required)ACLSPHTLSWilling to submit to a background check and drug screenNo felony convictionsNot ever been excluded from a federally funded insurance program such as MedicareGood physical stamina, endurance, and body condition which would not be adversely affected by having times to lift, move, carry and balance while moving in excess of 125 pounds (250 pounds 2 person lift)
