Full-Time Physical Therapist for Outpatient Rehabilitation Center

Work Environment: This role is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility in Winchester, Virginia. The clinic operates in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, where healthcare professionals work together to provide optimal care. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work-life balance within a focused practice.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address specific physical goals. Utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions and cost-effective treatment modalities to enhance patients' motion and mobility, while promoting non-surgical alternatives to pain management. Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring that each individual receives ample attention and quality care. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress consistently, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Incorporate fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, empowering patients in their journey toward recovery. Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care network that fosters communication and shared goals for patient recovery. Document all services provided accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, to streamline patient care and maintain compliance. Encourage motivation in patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering an environment of support and empowerment. Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic caters primarily to clients in need of orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and overall physical wellness. Our patients range from athletes seeking to enhance their performance to individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries, all of whom appreciate the personalized attention and progressive care provided by our dedicated team.

Qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position. An active Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings. Exceptional proficiency in multiple manual therapy techniques. Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective and individualized exercise programs. Proficient use of EMR software, especially Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices and techniques supported by research.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly within an orthopedic or sports medicine context. A proven track record of successful patient outcomes and high levels of patient satisfaction. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, based on experience and expertise.
