Part-Time Laundry Assistant

What You'll Do: As a Laundry Assistant, you'll help ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and other personal items available when they need them.

Responsibilities include: Washing, drying, folding, and organizing resident clothing and facility linens Properly labeling and distributing resident clothing and personal items Collecting soiled laundry and delivering clean laundry throughout the facility Operating washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely Keeping the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary Following infection control and safety procedures Handling residents' personal belongings with care and respect Maintaining appropriate laundry supplies and notifying leadership when items need replenished Working cooperatively with Housekeeping, Nursing, and other departments Helping maintain a clean, comfortable environment for our residents

What We're Looking For: Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Organized with good attention to detail Able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required Why Edgewood Manor?
