The Chabot-Las Positas Community College District is seeking a PT Instructor, Psychologyfor LasPositas College.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Ability to teacha broad range of introductory corepsychology courses, which may include but are not limited to:
- Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Psychology, Brain, Mind and
- Behavior (Biological Psychology), Abnormal Psychology, Social
- Psychology, and Research Methods;2.Ability to teach courses both on campus and in a distanceeducation format.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in psychology OR Bachelor's inpsychology AND Master's in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience or social work OR the equivalent. Evidence of understanding of andresponsiveness to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, racial and ethnicbackgrounds of community college students, as these factors relateto the need for equity-minded practices within theclassroom.
