Apply for this role →Enterprise Account Executive About Signal House Signal House is building the communications infrastructure layer for the next generation of software and AI companies. We provide SMS, MMS, voice, phone numbers, RCS, and communications APIs to businesses that need to send and receive at scale. Our customers range from fast-growing SaaS platforms to companies embedding messaging and voice directly into AI agents, customer engagement products, and vertical software. The communications industry has traditionally forced companies to choose between massive legacy providers, complicated carrier relationships, or fragmented point solutions. Signal House is building a different model: modern APIs, competitive economics, hands-on support, and infrastructure designed around the way today's software companies actually operate. We're growing quickly, and we're looking for an Enterprise Account Executive who can help us turn sophisticated, high-volume prospects into long-term Signal House customers.
The Role:
This is a true enterprise new-business role. You'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic accounts with significant SMS, voice, and communications volume. These aren't transactional software sales. The right customer could represent hundreds of thousands—or millions—of dollars in annual revenue, and winning them requires understanding their business, technical architecture, existing provider relationships, economics, compliance requirements, and growth plans. You'll work directly with Signal House leadership, product, operations, and technical teams throughout the sales process. We aren't looking for someone who waits for inbound leads and runs demos. We want someone who can identify the right accounts, create opportunities where none existed, get access to senior decision-makers, understand the underlying communications workload, and build a compelling case for moving that workload to Signal House. You sell the infrastructure and business outcome—not an API feature list. A SaaS platform doesn't want SMS. It wants reliable communications across thousands of customers. An AI company doesn't want SIP minutes. It wants thousands of AI agents capable of reaching customers reliably. A high-volume sender doesn't simply want a cheaper rate. It wants better economics without sacrificing deliverability, compliance, support, or uptime. Your job is to understand that distinction and sell accordingly.
What You'll Do:
Own a focused portfolio of strategic enterprise prospects with significant potential SMS, voice, RCS, or communications spend Build and maintain a pipeline of high-value new-logo opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting, relationships, industry events, referrals, partnerships, and inbound opportunities Target SaaS platforms, AI companies, contact-center technologies, CRM platforms, vertical software companies, and other businesses embedding communications into their products Identify accounts with the potential to grow into $250K, $500K, $1M+ annual relationships Develop an account strategy for priority prospects, including their existing communications stack, estimated volume, current providers, decision-makers, technical requirements, potential pain points, and commercial opportunity Build relationships with founders, CEOs, CTOs, CROs, VPs of Engineering, product leaders, operations leaders, and other executive stakeholders Lead discovery around messaging volume, voice traffic, carrier requirements, deliverability, compliance, routing, APIs, integrations, support requirements, and economics Work closely with Signal House's technical and operations teams to design the right solution for each customer Navigate competitive evaluations against Twilio, Telnyx, Sinch, Bandwidth, Vonage and other communications providers Build strong commercial proposals around usage commitments, pricing tiers, product mix, implementation, and growth Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving technical evaluations, security reviews, compliance, procurement, legal, and executive approval Negotiate and close multi-product and multi-year enterprise agreements Drive customers from signed agreement through implementation and meaningful production volume Develop expansion opportunities as customers add products, business units, use cases, and communications volume Maintain rigorous pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and CRM hygiene Bring market intelligence back into Signal House: what customers want, what competitors are doing, where pricing is moving, and where we should invest next What We're Looking For 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably in CPaaS, telecom, messaging, voice, CCaaS, UCaaS, SaaS infrastructure, API platforms, or AI infrastructureA demonstrated history of hunting and closing net-new enterprise business Experience managing complex, six-figure and seven-figure sales opportunities Comfortable selling into technical organizations and communicating with both executive and engineering stakeholders Able to understand concepts such as APIs, messaging traffic, carrier infrastructure, SIP, phone numbers, messaging registration, deliverability, compliance, and usage-based pricing Strong commercial instincts—you understand that a high-volume infrastructure deal is ultimately about both technical performance and unit economics Ability to build an ROI and business case rather than relying on feature comparisons Comfortable prospecting into large organizations and creating opportunities from scratch Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to protect pricing and economics during large enterprise negotiations Experience working through procurement, security, legal, compliance, and technical diligence Highly organized with disciplined pipeline and forecasting habits Excellent written and verbal communication skills Competitive, curious, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment where processes are still being built Willing to travel when meeting a strategic customer in person materially improves the likelihood of winning the account
Bonus Points:
Existing relationships with high-volume SaaS platforms, CRM companies, lead-generation platforms, contact-center software companies, AI-agent companies, or communications platforms Previous experience at a company such as Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth, Sinch, Vonage, Infobip, Plivo, Bird, or another CPaaS/telecom provider Experience selling SMS traffic measured in tens or hundreds of millions of messages per month Knowledge of A2P 10DLC, toll-free messaging, short codes, messaging compliance, carrier filtering, and deliverability Experience selling SIP trunking, programmable voice, phone numbers, or AI voice infrastructure Experience with usage-based pricing and large committed-volume contracts Experience displacing an incumbent communications provider Experience selling directly to founders and executive teams at fast-growing technology companies Existing relationships across the AI-agent and AI infrastructure ecosystem How We Think About Enterprise Sales Enterprise sales at Signal House isn't about collecting logos. We're looking for customers where Signal House can become a meaningful part of their infrastructure. That means understanding the customer's business deeply enough to answer: What communications workload can we win? Why would they move it to Signal House? How large could the relationship become? Who actually controls the decision? What needs to happen technically and commercially to get into production? And then executing until the traffic moves. We're looking for someone who enjoys that process. Someone who sees a company sending 50 million messages a month and doesn't think, "I should send them a sales email."They think: Who's their provider? What are they paying? What's broken? Who owns the relationship? What's the wedge? And how do I get in the room? That's the person we're looking for.
