Operating Partner

Prospera Executive has been instructed on an Operating Partner search for a lower middle-market healthcare services investment firm. The fund invests exclusively in the smaller end of the lower middle market, healthcare services businesses with $40-200m of revenue and $8-20m of EBITDA, partnering with founders to professionalise and scale their businesses ahead of the next stage of institutional growth. The firm already fields a bench of subject-matter specialists across revenue cycle management, payer strategy, healthcare technology, the office of the CFO, legal and BI/analytics. It is now looking to bring in a generalist "quarterback" who has sat in the CEO chair themselves, to work directly across the portfolio alongside those specialists and the existing leadership teams. Act as a hands-on generalist partner across the portfolio, working alongside existing subject-matter specialists (RCM, payer strategy, healthcare technology, finance, legal, BI) rather than as a narrow specialist themselves Advise portfolio company CEOs and leadership teams directly on growth strategy, multi-site scaling, operating infrastructure and performance improvement Contribute to operational diligence on new acquisition targets, assessing management capability, operating model and post-close value-creation potential Partner with the investment team on portfolio strategy and value-creation planning Support portfolio companies through to exit, including exit preparation and process Represent the operating team in investor-facing contexts as required
