Senior Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in monthly closing process. Prepare balance sheet analyses and reconciliations to support amounts. Prepare journal entries. Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Lead the Ad Populum level consolidation process, including but not limited, to improving current processes, implementing system(s), and reconciling intercompany balances across all Ad Populum operating companies. Responsible for maintaining Intercompany Loan schedules, working with Legal to ensure appropriate documentation, and cross-coordination with Operating Companies to ensure alignment across ERPs. Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of members of the Accounting team. Prepare information for annual audit required by independent CPA firm. Assist with quarterly royalty calculations for well-known licensors. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance required.3+ years of Accounting or Finance experience Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard operating procedures. Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on many unique projects and tasks.
