Compliance Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support product testing, supplier quality, and compliance programs for consumer products sold through major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, and other national accounts. This role will support products across categories including housewares, kitchen appliances, cookware, gadgets, and electronics by coordinating third-party testing, managing supplier documentation, tracking production quality requirements, and supporting issue resolution. The ideal candidate has experience working with consumer products, factories, product testing, or supplier quality and is comfortable communicating with overseas manufacturers and cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring products meet retailer requirements, pass testing, and launch successfully.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Testing & Quality Management Coordinate product testing with third-party laboratories (UL, SGS, Intertek, BV, etc.)Manage testing schedules for: New product launches Production testing Annual testing requirements Product updates or changes Prepare test submissions, sample coordination, and required documentation Maintain testing trackers and proactively follow up on pending items Communicate testing requirements and timelines with factories and overseas teams 2. Factory & Supplier Quality Support Work directly with factories to: Collect required testing documents Confirm sample readiness Resolve testing delays Address quality concerns Review factory documentation including: Test reports

Certifications: Product specifications Material information Support supplier compliance and quality improvement initiatives 3. Test Failure & Corrective Action Support Investigate product testing failures and quality issues with factories Support root cause investigations and corrective actions Coordinate: CAP (Corrective Action Plans)Product revisions Re-testing approvals Follow up with factories to ensure corrective actions are implemented 4. Product Documentation & Compliance Support Maintain product compliance records, test reports, and certification files Support review of: Packaging information Warning labels User manuals Product claims Assist teams in ensuring products meet retailer and regulatory requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in consumer goods, housewares, kitchen products, or electronics preferred Experience communicating with overseas factories preferred Strong Excel and data management skills Strong organization and follow-up skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience: Experience working with third-party testing laboratories: ULSGSIntertek Bureau Veritas Experience with: Product safety testing Retail compliance requirements Factory corrective actionsCAPA processes Production sample reviews Familiarity with retailer requirements from: Walmart Amazon Target Other major retailers
