About the Role:
Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our clinical team on a part-time and PRN (as-needed) basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive, team-oriented environment where your clinical expertise and dedication are valued. This is a meaningful opportunity for a nurse who is committed to improving resident outcomes while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
- Prepare and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, and IV) and document accurately; report any adverse reactions per policy
- Provide direct bedside care for a wide range of medical and post-acute residents
- Monitor and manage specialized equipment; interpret and document electronic health data
- Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
- Perform wound care, insert catheters, and initiate IV therapy as needed
- Educate residents and families on treatments, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care coordination
What We're Looking For:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
