Your Key Responsibilities:
Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care plans.
Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively or independently (depending on your credentials).
Instructing patients and families on prevention, wellness, and disease management strategies.
Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice.
Involved in patient follow-ups and chronic care management.
Working in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams for a seamless, comprehensive care experience.
Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications:
You'll Need Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Essential Certifications:
Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas.
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure them within 90 days).
