Medical Weight Loss Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Provide outpatient medical weight loss care in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. Conduct routine physical examinations, formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans, coordinate referrals, and treat conditions within the scope of practice. The role is open to nurse practitioners and physician assistants; new graduates are welcome. Conduct routine physical examinations for medical weight loss patients. Formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to support treatment. Develop plans for further evaluation of patients' health needs. Refer patients to other care team members or specialists as appropriate. Provide treatment for problems within the provider's scope and established protocols. Identify problems outside the scope of practice and refer them to a physician.
