Counselor - Part Time

Part Time Counselors Wanted Gallagher Children's Home is currently hiring for part time Counselors to provide a variety of direct care services to children at an entry level with close supervision. In the scope of their role, the Counselor - Part time participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu according to each child's treatment plan and Partnership for Children's philosophy. A responsible adult to: Provide a safe, consistent and structured living environment. Serve as a positive role model. Teach important life skills. Join youth in enjoying fun & healthy recreational activities. Perform routine household duties like cleaning, organizing and basic maintenance Support a cooperative and collaborative staff team environment. Applicants must meet our state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire along with these basic qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed Ability to climb stairs as needed
