Sr Financial Analyst - Grocery

Senior Financial Analyst As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will perform research work and prepare financial analysis necessary to make essential Corporate planning decisions. Key responsibilities include designing and developing analysis processes focused on providing a financial solution, performing highly complex analysis of information used to make decisions on implementation of strategic programs and changes, evaluating/scorecarding innovative, strategic programs to measure effectiveness, acting as a consultant on P&A programs, processes, policies, developing and implementing performance improvement strategies, evaluating ongoing project performance, participating in cross-departmental projects, and leading cross-functional special projects as necessary. Qualifications and key requirements include 6-8 years of experience in financial analysis, working knowledge of retail accounting-finance principles related to developing forecasting/budgeting/decision models, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced level facilitation and project management skills, advanced PC skills, ability to effectively work/communicate with all levels of management and Partners, ability to work complex issues with senior management using highly-developed influencing skills, ability to manage large-scale projects from conception to implementation, ability to produce work that impacts management decisions and business results, ability to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision, self-directed; motivated to get results independently, and strong attention to detail. A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience is required. CPA and CMA are nice to have, but not required. Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment. Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays. Sit for extended periods of time. Work extended hours.
