Position Summary:
The Logistician (LGT2) – Low Mid is a Non-Key Personnel position supporting Team Blackwatchs NAVSEA PMS 470 (BBGN) Professional Support Services – N0016426R3120 contract, aligned to Task 1 – Logistics Support (SOW 4.1). This position is based in DC Metro Area and requires an active SECRET security clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Logisticians integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.
Logisticians are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance including internal control measures.
The Logistician prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Relevant Experience:
>4 years
Active SECRET security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field. High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.
Preferred Relevant Experience: 7 years
Preferred Specialized Experience: 4 years relevant professional experience in integrated logistics support.
