Job Summary:

Our cardiology team is known for being the preferred group for cardiac services in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. We are at the forefront of cardiovascular innovation and are proud to offer advanced procedures and treatments to our patients. Our state-of-the-art facilities and supportive environment make UW Health a premier destination for both patients and healthcare professionals. Your clinical support includes the following: Dedicated UW Health Heart Hospital, with non-invasive lab for echocardiograms, TEE’s, tilt table and stress tests
Participation in the growth and development of new procedures and cardiac treatments, including CardioMEMS, Watchman and TAVR
APP support to streamline workflow and patient management
Large built-in referral-base from over 100 primary care providers in our medical group
Opportunities to work with medical students and family medicine residents, as well as an academic appointment with the University of IL College of Medicine at Rockford
Excellent tertiary specialty support from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health EducationMD or DO - Required License/Certifications Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire - Required
Active Illinois medical license - Required
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years - Required
Bi-annual CPR certification - Preferred
