Chief Technology Officer - Lifecor Lifecor is a startup technology-driven life insurance carrier in formation, initially focused on term and final expense products. We are building a company that sits at the intersection of insurance, technology, underwriting, distribution, data, and capital. We are currently working through carrier acquisition, reinsurance, product development, and distribution while assembling the small group of people who will define what Lifecor becomes. The technology opportunity is enormous. The systems built today will ultimately touch nearly every part of the company: how customers buy insurance, how agents submit business, how risks are underwritten, how policies are issued and administered, how data moves through the organization, and how AI and automation are deployed across the carrier. The CTO will have the ability to shape that entire technology platform while earning meaningful ownership in the company. NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTSCan you figure things out without being told how? You should be capable of: Building and shipping product yourself Designing scalable architecture Leveraging AI aggressively across the organization Integrating underwriting, carrier, distribution, and data systems Solving difficult technical problems quickly Recruiting exceptionally talented engineers Taking complete ownership of the technology organization You will have direct responsibility for Lifecor’s technology architecture, product development, engineering organization, AI strategy, and technical execution as the company scales. Lifecor is not yet capitalized, so this role currently offers no cash compensation; meaningful equity is available, and if you are not willing to work for equity until we are funded, do not apply.
