EpidemiologistWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Epidemiologist, you will: Conduct epidemiologic studies and surveillance activities by designing studies, developing data collection tools, reviewing literature, and implementing methods to assess public health issues and disease trends. Analyze and interpret public health data using epidemiologic and statistical methods to evaluate data quality, identify health trends, and assess. Provide epidemiologic consultation and technical assistance to Federal, State, and local partners on study design, surveillance systems, data collection, and evaluation of public health programs. Prepare and disseminate scientific findings through technical reports, manuscripts, presentations, and publications, translating epidemiologic data into actionable public health information.
