Travel Advisor (Remote)

Position Description: Bonesteel Travel is seeking motivated, entrepreneurial individuals to join our growing team as Independent Travel Advisors. This is a U.S.-based, virtual, 1099 independent contractor opportunity designed for self-starters who want the flexibility to build a travel business with the training, resources, and support of an established agency behind them. As a Travel Advisor, you will work directly with clients to plan and book vacations, cruises, resorts, tours, and other travel experiences. You will be responsible for developing your own client base, generating leads, building relationships, marketing your services, and providing excellent service throughout the planning and travel process. No previous travel industry experience is required. Bonesteel Travel provides comprehensive training and ongoing support; however, successful advisors must be willing to consistently market themselves, pursue new business, follow up with prospective clients, and take ownership of growing their business.

Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain your own client base through networking, referrals, social media, community involvement, and other lead-generation activities• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budgets• Research and recommend destinations, cruises, resorts, tours, and travel experiences• Prepare professional travel proposals and quotes• Manage reservations, payments, documentation, and important travel details• Communicate promptly and professionally with clients and travel suppliers• Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat and referral business• Participate in required training and continue developing destination, supplier, and industry knowledge• Represent Bonesteel Travel professionally and provide a high level of client service

Qualifications: We are looking for go-getters who are excited about building a business—not simply individuals who love to travel. The strongest candidates will be:• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently• Confident developing relationships and asking for business• Willing to actively market themselves and consistently generate leads• Comfortable using social media, networking, referrals, and personal connections to grow a client base• Organized and able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and details• Professional and responsive in written and verbal communication• Comfortable learning new technology and online systems• Coachable and willing to participate in ongoing training• Able to take initiative without needing daily supervision or direction• Passionate about providing excellent service and creating long-term client relationships• Based in the United States Previous sales, business development, hospitality, customer service, event planning, real estate, entrepreneurship, or other relationship-driven experience is a plus, but not required. Important Details This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is 100% commission-based. There is no salary or guaranteed income. Advisors control their own schedules and work virtually while building their individual book of business. Selected advisors are responsible for a $495 one-time training investment and $150 annual insurance cost. The training fee is reimbursable once your initial target is met. In return, advisors receive comprehensive industry training, tools, resources, mentorship, and ongoing support through Bonesteel Travel. You will have the opportunity to learn within a successful, established travel agency led by a Certified Travel Associate (CTA)—giving you the independence to build your own business without having to figure everything out on your own.
