Controls Service Technician (HVAC, electrical, or BAS exp req; $30-45/hr.)

Location: must reside in the Greater Jacksonville, FL, Tallahassee, FL, or Thomasville, GA areas

Salary: $30-$45/hr. ($62,000-$93,000) + Paid OT (time and a half)

Description: Our client, a well-established building controls and energy management company, is looking to expand their Service Team by adding a new Controls Technician. Majority of your travel to customer sites will be regionalized around your location, making extensive travel very rare. Important Note: Their customers are fairly concentrated in the Jacksonville area with customers also in Tallahassee. The most extensive travel you'd have is to Savannah and Thomasville, GA or to the Orlando area. Field Controls Technician (controls, HVAC, OR electrical exp. req.)

Responsibilities: Service environmental-control and building systems (HVAC, lighting, etc.)Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, etc.)Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams Travel to client sites (75%) and provide remote diagnostics when possible Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients Participate in on-call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)Pursue ongoing education and training to expand BAS skills Field Controls Technician (controls, HVAC, OR electrical exp. req.)
