Key Responsibilities:
Operate street sweepers to clean town streets and roadways during overnight hours Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections of the street sweeper and related equipment Assist with other roadway and sanitation-related tasks as needed Support emergency operations, including snow and ice response, as required Maintain accurate logs of work performed and equipment usage
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 12 years of experience operating heavy trucks and equipment (experience with sweepers preferred)Experience with snow and ice operations is a plus Valid Massachusetts CDL, Class B required Valid MA Hoisting Engineer's License required Strong attention to safety and the ability to work independently overnight The Overnight Street Sweeper offers a competitive hourly rate of $28.86/hour and a night differential of $15 per shift, as well as generous benefits including health insurance, pension plan, generous paid time off, and more.
