Project Manager

Essential Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and manage concrete and asphalt paving projects (parking lots, roadways, site development) from preconstruction through completion. Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule Review plans, specifications, and mix designs for compliance with project requirements and local/DOT standards Serve as primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and inspectors Conduct quality control inspections (grading, compaction, thickness, finishing) and ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA)Track project progress, prepare status reports, and manage submittals/RFIsNegotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services Resolve field issues, weather delays, and scheduling conflicts proactively

Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience in concrete/asphalt paving or heavy civil construction required. Working knowledge of paving equipment, mix designs, and grading/drainage principles. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and DOT specifications Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Valid driver’s license; OSHA 30 certification preferred Estimating and bidding experience for paving/site work projects Familiarity with municipal and state DOT contract requirements Experience managing multiple concurrent job sites
