Apply for this role →Job Title: Pump Mechanic - Test Group (2nd Shift)We are seeking a hands-on Pump Mechanic to join our Test Group team working on industrial rotating equipment and pump systems. This role involves working on fully assembled pump systems performing alignment, installation, and mechanical troubleshooting during final testing and setup. This position is approximately 80% mechanical and 20% electrical, and requires someone comfortable working with tools, mechanical systems, motors, and basic electrical connections in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical alignment of pumps and motors Install piping, insulation, sensors, and gearboxes Assist with pump testing and final system setup Perform mechanical troubleshooting during pump testing Install motors and connect cables Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints Work with rotating equipment and industrial mechanical systems Requirements:2+ years of hands-on mechanical experience Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, motors, gearboxes, or industrial machinery Mechanical troubleshooting experience Experience using hand and power tools Basic electrical knowledge and comfort working around industrial voltage equipment Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints Industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical assembly, or rotating equipment experience preferred Pump experience is a strong plus but not required Schedule:2nd Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PMOvertime available
