Reconciliation Analyst, Shared Services
Overview: Seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to join the Investment Operations Shared Services Team and support the reconciliation function for invested assets. The Shared Services Reconciliation Team supports various investment types, including public equity, investment grade and high-yield debt, structured credit such as MBS/CMO, private credit, bank loans, and derivatives. The Analyst will work closely with team members and the Manager and will be responsible for supporting team deliverables and mandates. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timely resolution of reconciliation exceptions, effective communication, and adherence to service-level requirements. The Analyst will also contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing workflows, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and participating in initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and control. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage priorities effectively, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the team.
Job Duties: Review aging reconciliation reports to ensure exceptions are validated and query owners on items that are outside determined thresholds. Ensure exceptions are resolved in a timely manner, provide regular updates to the Lead, and escalate as needed. Review outstanding cash and holding reconciliation items for potential material impact and ensure timely resolution. Escalate items as needed. Ensure cash and holding reconciliation breaks have proper backup support for each monthly close. Ensure SLA requirements for internal and external parties are managed efficiently and effectively. Keep Lead(s) and the rest of the team updated on work progress and communicate issues or delays in a timely manner to avoid missed deadlines. Ensure work is completed thoroughly and accurately before submitting for review. Review workflows and identify process improvements and ways to make workflows more efficient. Escalate any issues or delays pertaining to the items above, or other assigned tasks, to the Lead as soon as possible. Participate in other daily tasks as needed based on the direction of the Lead or Manager.Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.
