Role Description: The Aesthetic Nurse Injector is a full-time, on-site role based in Downers Grove, IL, responsible for providing injectable cosmetic treatments such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other non-surgical facial and body rejuvenation procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed consultations, assessing patient goals, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering safe, precise injections while adhering to clinical protocols and best practices. The role involves documenting treatments, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The Aesthetic Nurse Injector will educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, manage follow-up visits, and collaborate with the clinical and front-desk teams to support a seamless patient experience. Additional responsibilities may include participating in staff trainings, staying current on aesthetic trends and products, and supporting occasional marketing or patient education events.
Qualifications: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Illinois. Previous experience with aesthetic injectables (neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and related treatments) or strong interest in medical aesthetics with a willingness to undergo comprehensive training. Solid understanding of facial anatomy, injection techniques, and aseptic procedures, with a strong commitment to patient safety and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear patient education, build rapport, and manage expectations in a professional, empathetic manner. Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and documentation skills, including accurate charting and adherence to privacy and regulatory guidelines. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and manage time effectively to support patient flow. Comfort with using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic office technology; openness to participating in social media or marketing initiatives related to patient education is a plus. Availability to work a consistent full-time schedule, which may include some evenings or weekends based on patient demand. Prior experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or a med spa setting is preferred but not required.
