Structured Finance Mid-Level Associate Attorney
Location: New York, NY$310,000 – $390,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
Direct Counsel is seeking a Structured Finance Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join a top-tier national law firm's Structured Finance practice in its New York office.
The ideal candidate will have:
3–6 years of structured finance experience at a law firm, with a focus on structured finance, lending, securitization, or similar finance structures, primarily in residential asset finance and other consumer finance–related industries. Experience across a variety of asset types and structures is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Advising on structured finance transactions, lending arrangements, and securitizations
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and related agreements
- Collaborating with deal teams on complex structured finance matters
- Advising clients on compliance and regulatory aspects of structured finance transactions
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of relevant structured finance experience at a law firm
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Admission to the New York Bar (required)
