Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary: Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting mechanical equipment performance, driving loss elimination initiatives, implementing quality and cost-saving improvements, and ensuring efficient plant operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement. Inspect and maintain the performance of all mechanical equipment supported in the manufacturing process at a plant Determining problems in manufacturing that create production issues and find and implement solutions for those problems Perform cost-benefit evaluations for new manufacturing processes Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow. Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products. Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems. Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations. Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports
