Temp Experts is partnering with a well-established international organization to add an experienced Staff Accountant to its Miami accounting team. You'll work closely with accounting leadership and operations, and get hands-on exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, general ledger work and project accounting. What you'll be doing:
Preparing and maintaining accounting records, schedules and reconciliations Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts Recording journal entries, accruals and expense allocations to keep the general ledger accurate Helping with roll-forward schedules for fixed assets, leases, prepaids and accruals Supporting calculations for leases, rents, royalties, allowances and recurring agreements Partnering with Operations during month-end close Helping with monthly, quarterly and year-end close Preparing financial analyses and ad hoc reports for management Providing documentation and support for internal and external audits Monitoring project activity, investigating variances and helping with project billing and collections Finding ways to make accounting processes faster and more accurate
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)4+ years of progressive accounting experienceA strong understanding of U.S. GAAPStrong Excel skills Experience with ERP or accounting systems; SAP experience preferred Solid financial reporting and reconciliation skills Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail The ability to juggle priorities and hit deadlines Strong communication skills and comfort working across departments If you're an experienced Staff Accountant in the Miami area ready for your next move, apply today through Linked In.
