Experienced Physical Therapist - Onsite Rehabilitation Specialist

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed historical reviews and specific assessments, to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs. Clearly communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in setting rehabilitation goals. Implement treatment protocols based on patient evaluation outcomes, adapting approaches as needed to align with best practices in physical therapy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, recognizing any changes in patient conditions that may require modifications to care plans. Oversee discharge planning and formulate follow-up care strategies, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and progress reports. Manage time effectively to meet established productivity benchmarks while maintaining an organized schedule to accommodate patient appointments and therapy sessions. Participate in departmental initiatives, contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the rehabilitation center. Engage in continuous education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, and serve as a clinical mentor to students and junior staff. Champion excellent customer experiences by being flexible and adaptable to evolving patient needs within a dynamic healthcare landscape. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Physical Therapist at Archway, you will work with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with documentation best practices in physical therapy.
