Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional end-of-life care in patients’ homes. In this role, you’ll manage a clinical caseload, perform comprehensive assessments, and create individualized care plans focused on comfort and dignity. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, and caregivers to optimize symptom management and provide education and emotional support to families. Provide in-home hospice nursing care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of patient status and symptoms Develop, implement, and update individualized hospice care plans Administer medications and manage pain and symptom control per physician orders Educate patients and families on disease progression, medications, and care techniques Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members Document all care, assessments, and communications in the EHR accurately and timely Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent patient needs as assigned Support families with emotional guidance and end-of-life resources Ensure compliance with hospice regulations, policies, and best practices Hospice nursing Patient assessment Palliative care Care plan development Medication and pain management Electronic health records (EHR) IV and wound care Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and family education End-of-life support counseling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in state of practice Hospice or palliative care experience preferred BLS certification CHPN certification preferred
