Dunn’s Therapies is seeking Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS)/ Therapeutic Recreation Specialist/Texas Certified (TRS/TXC) or individuals eligible for certification to provide individualized, client-centered therapy services in home and community-based settings across the Houston metro area. This role offers a flexible, autonomy-driven alternative to traditional hospital or facility-based positions, allowing you to focus on meaningful, one-on-one care while maintaining control over your schedule. Position Highlights Consistent client referrals to support caseload growth Flexible scheduling with the ability to manage your own workload Diverse clinical populations (pediatrics through geriatrics)Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based recreation therapy interventions Collaborate with families and care teams to support client outcomes Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist/Texas Certified (TRS/TXC)Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy or related field Experience with special needs or behavioral health populations preferred Current CPR certification Professional liability insurance Reliable transportation\nCompany
