The Endoscopy Technician serves as a member of the healthcare team and provides technical support to the surgeon, endoscopy nurse, and anesthesiologist in the procedure room. The Endoscopy Tech assumes appropriate responsibilities in the intraoperative area by preparing and maintaining the instruments and equipment used in endoscopic procedures including calibration of endoscopes and other related equipment according to facility standards. They may also assist the RN circulator, setting up and breaking down endoscopic procedures, pulling and putting away supplies and equipment, and environmental service duties. Duties/
