Job Summary:
The Palace Care Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Supply Medical Records professional to join our team. As a key member of our medical records department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient management of patient medical records. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure timely and efficient processing of medical records requests from healthcare providers and patients
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for medical records management
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient records
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient medical records at all times
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the medical records department
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient medical records
